Join us on an unforgettable adventure to Doñana National
Park, starting from Seville with one of our friendly expert guides. Our first stop takes us to the charming town of Puebla del Río, the gateway to the magical wetlands of Doñana.
This special area is home to Europe’s largest colony of white storks, and you’ll have the chance to watch hundreds of birds thriving in their natural habitat. It’s a bird lover’s paradise and a breathtaking experience for anyone who loves nature.
The Doñana marshlands are one of Europe’s most important natural treasures, hosting over 300 bird species and a staggering 200,000 birds each year. The area is also famous for its lush rice fields, which produce the most rice in Spain, and its stunning landscapes were featured in the award-winning Spanish film Marshland (La Isla Mínima).
Our journey continues to the enchanting village of El Rocío, famous for its incredible annual pilgrimage. Walking through its sandy streets, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Horses and carriages are part of daily life here, giving it a unique charm that feels straight out of a storybook.
We’ll visit the iconic Shrine of Our Lady of El Rocío, a place of deep spiritual and cultural significance where over a million people gather every year for one of the world’s biggest religious pilgrimages.
Next, we’ll explore the beautiful Palacio del Acebrón, located near the Arroyo de la Rocina. This spot introduces us to another of Doñana’s unique ecosystems—the lush gallery forest. Here, we’ll take a relaxing circular hike, learning about animal tracks and discovering fascinating native plants that make this area so special.
After stretching our legs, it’ll be time to relax and enjoy a delicious local meal, tasting the traditional flavors of the region. Then we’ll head to Doñana’s pristine beach, which stretches over 30 kilometers and is the longest untouched coastline in Spain.
We’ll take a short tour of the shifting sand dunes, marveling at the flora and fauna that call this area home. If the weather is on our side, you’ll have the chance to take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters—a perfect way to end the day.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll head back to Seville in our 4×4 vehicle, driving through the lush forests of Doñana. This is your chance to spot some of the park’s larger mammals and, with a bit of luck, catch a glimpse of the famous Iberian Lynx, the park’s most iconic animal.
Join us for this magical journey where nature, culture and adventure come together to create memories you`ll treasure forever!
