Itinerary
The journey begins in the afternoon, departing from Madrid to Segovia. This picturesque city will captivate you from the moment you arrive. Our first stop will be the Alcázar of Segovia, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the world, whose architecture inspired Walt Disney in the creation of castles in films like Cinderella and Snow White. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour to explore its rich history.
From the Alcázar, we’ll take a short walk to Plaza Mayor, where we’ll admire monuments such as the Segovia City Hall, the Juan Bravo Theater, and the Segovia Cathedral. You’ll have access to this stunning cathedral, and a guided tour will reveal its architectural beauty and fascinating history.
After visiting the Cathedral, you’ll have some free time to explore Segovia at your leisure. Then, we’ll meet again in Plaza Mayor to continue discovering more of the city’s landmarks, such as the House of the Spikes—famous for its façade with 617 granite spikes—and Plaza Medina del Campo, home to the Church of San Martín and the Torreón de Lozoya.
We’ll end the tour with a visit to the Segovia Aqueduct, one of the oldest and best-preserved Roman monuments in Spain. Stretching over 16 kilometers and more than 2,000 years old, you’ll learn how it was built without cement and how it transported water to the city.
